requires a contractor to install/repair/replace a Fuel Oil Distribution
Utility at Liberty Island, New York. The project includes but is not
limited to the following: A) Removal of two (2) four thousand gallon
fiberglass UST single wall #2 fuel oil holding tanks and related
components. B) Installation of underground fuel oil supply and fuel oil
return lines. Including sumps, appratuses, attachments, fittings, and
all associative and related components to make a complete and usable
fuel oil supply and return utility that is compliant with all
applicable codes and regulations governing such. C) The removal and
disposal of five (5) 275 gallon above ground fuel oil day tanks. D) The
installation of five (5) new above ground tanks with secondary
containment and related equipment. E) The installation of a system for
automating the filling of all day tanks. F) The installation of a fuel
oil management, monitoring and compliance system. The contractor shall
submit a copy of their "NJ DEP letter of certification" with the
quote. A site visit will be scheduled and noted in the solicitation
document. Solicitation may be issued on or about July 21, 1999. No
