The American Embassy in Bangkok, Thailand requires the operation and
management of guard services in order to prevent unauthorized access,
protect life, maintain order, deter criminal attacks against employees,
dependents and property and terroristic acts against all U.S. assets,
and prevent damage to Government property. The Contractor shall furnish
managerial, adminstrative and direct labor personnel to accomplish all
work as required in the contract. The estimated number of hours of
guard services required for each year is 911,532 hours. Any resultant
contract will contain a base period not to exceed 12 months and four 12
month optional periods of performance. The contract will cover the
Embassy and the following other U.S. government installations in
Thailand: a. American Embassy, Bangkok, Thailand b. American Consulate
General, Chiang Mai, Thailand c. International Broadcasting Bureau
(formerly VOA), Ban Dung, Udornthani, Thailand d. Office and Residences
of USG employees, Udornthani, Thailand e.Office and Residences of USG
employees, Songkhla, Thailand All responsible sources will be
