The Portland VA Medical Center requires commercially available services to dispose of Hazardous Chemicals. Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, personnel, supplies, travel, supervision, equipment, tools, transportation and materials to perform hazardous waste removal in accordance with the terms and conditions of the solicitation. The services shall be performed at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 3710 SW US Veterans Hospital Road, Portland, Oregon 97201, for the period of September 1, 1999 through August 31, 2000, with two (2) options to renew for a period of one (1) year each. Following are examples of the types of hazardous chemicals that will require pick up and disposal in accordance with the contract specifications, (i.e., Batteries, Mercury, Formaldehyde, Isopropyl Alcohol, Ethel Alcohol, Ethel Ether, and Picric Acid, etc..). Contract will call for a minimum of 4 pickups in a 1 year period. Orders will be placed on an as needed basis upon award. All interested parties are invited to submit a technical and price quotation.
