Replacement shall include the motor operators, mechanical linkages, as well as the switches themselves. This work also includes replacing all cables from the motor operators to the points of origin and replacing all conduits from the motor operators to the cable tunnel in the switchyard. Estimated magnitude of work is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Issue date for the solicitation will be on or about 8 August 1999. The solicitation is available on Compact Disk (CD-ROM) and provided free of charge. The solicitation will not be available in a printed paper format; however, the Government reserves the right to revert to paper medium when determined to be in the Government's best interest. All bid bonds, and other documents required for the offer submittal, including amendments to the offer submittal, shall be in paper medium. Electronic medium for the offer submittal documents will not be allowed.
