The project is located within the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge, Comanche County, Oklahoma. The work includes but is not limited to: road improvements consisting of approximately 90% placing pavement fabric and hot mix asphalt pavement overlay on existing deteriorated paved roads; approximately 10% of work scarifying, compacting, placing base course and hot mix asphalt pavement on existing gravel roads; approximately 4 miles of existing paved road centerline paint striping shall be removed and new centerline striping applied; all roads shall be pavement striping; and guardrail improvements. A bid guarantee is required as part of the bid submittal. Payment and Performance Bonds are required from the successful bidder after award. This acquisition is being issued under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, SIC Code 1611, and is open to both large and small business.
