Z -- ROAD 3817 ROAD DECOMMISSIONING AND ERFO REPAIR SOL R6-15-99-95 DUE 082599 POC Charlette MacDonald, (541) 957-3233 Decommission 7.4 kilometers of the 3817 road system and repair one fill failure site on the North Umpqua Ranger District Steamboat Creek drainage. Work includes ripping and outsloping of roadbeds, removing and disposing of culverts with diameters up to 3.7 meters, and in fills up to 15 meters deep, fill pull-back, hauling and placing excavated material, hauling and placing rock riprap, and seeding and mulching. The majority of work involves work adjoining or within streams and is limited to a work period between July 1 and September 15; the total performance period anticipates work to begin July 1, 2000 and to be completed by September 15, 2001, allowing two field seasons.
