The U.S. Army, White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico, has a requirement for the purchase and fabrication of General Purpose Instrumentation Vans (Shelters and Trailers) to include integration and installation of instrumentation equipment and modification and refurbishment of used trailers and shelters. The General Purpose Instrumentation shelters consist of nominal 12-, 14-, 16-, 18-, 20-, 24-, 28-, and 30-foot enclosures that can be mounted on Government furnished trucks. As an option, the shelters shall be capable of being converted into small type trailers by the addition of axles and fifth-wheel hitches consistent with standard commercial trailers. The General Prupose Instrumentation Trailers consist of standard commercial 12-, 14-, 16-, 18-, 20-, 24-, 28-, 30-, 40-, 45-, 48-, and 53-foot semi-trailers. The contractor shall be required to maintain a facility within a 150 mile radius of the Headquarters Area, White Sands Missile Range, NM. The anticipated type of contract is Fixed-Price Indefinite Quantity. The period of performance is for a one-year Base Period and four one-year options to extend. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 3537. The requirement is 100% total set-aside for small business. No solicitation document exists at this time.
