This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6. This announcement constitutes the only soliciation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. UNICOR requests quotes for microporous filter unit, UNICOR part number EHR2641, part number dwg#a3249587-1 for a quantity of 10,000 each. This soliciation will result in a firm fixed price definite delivery/definite quantity type contract. Solicitation number is 123PI-Q-0017-99-LXCB and this solication is a Request for Quote (FRQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-04. The Standard Industrial Code is 3679 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. There is one (1) line item included in this solicitation and the quantity is 10,000 each. All items shall be a filter-unit, microporous per drawing number A3249587-1, UNICOR part number is EHR2641. This is an "Allor None" solicitation/award. A contract will be awarded to the offeror who submits the lowest aggregate offer. Required delivery is no later than 09-11-99. The contractor will ensure wrapping and packaging of the material to prevent damage during shipment. The shipment shall be marked with the following information: Item description, Contract number, weight, quantity, and UNICOR part number. Delivery will be FOB Destination to UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, 3301 Leestown Road, Lexington, KY 40511-8799. All invoices shall be forwarded to the same shipping address. FAR clause 52.212-1, Instruction to offerors -- Commercial applies to this acquisition. Quotes shall submit signed and dated SF-1449 or company letterhead stationary to UNICOR-Federal Prison Industries, Procurement Department, 3301 Leestown Road, Lexington, KY 40511-8799, Attn: Teresa Begley. Facsimile offers are acceptable at 606-253-9215. Quotes must be received no later than July 16, 1999, close of business. The quote must include the company name, address, telephone number, fax number, technical description of the items being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with requirements in the solicitation, price, a completed copy of Representations and Certifications in FAR 52.212-3, Offeror' Representation and Certifications-Commercial items, Taxpayer idenfication number, ACH (electronic payment information) numbers, and acknowledgement of all amendments, if applicable. Offeror will hold prices firm for 60 days from the date specified for receipt of offerors. If the offer is not submitted with a signed form SF-1449, submit on Company letterhead a statement specifying aggrement with the terms, conditions, and provisions included in this solicitation. Offerors that fail to furnish required representations and certifications or reject the terms and conditions of the solicitation may be excluded from consideration. The furnishing of a certificate of conformance shall be a condition of acceptance at the destination, and payment shall not be made until it is received.
