This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial optical surface profiler for measurement of surface deflections of micro-electromechanical systems. The optical field of view must range from 400 microns square or lower to 800 microns square or higher. Deflections in the Z-axis must be measured by a non-contact optical profiler with resolution of 0.3 nm or better and be capable of handling discontinuous steps. Z-range measurements must cover deflections up to 100 micrometers. All systems shall have a computer with a 10/100 ethernet card and a vibration isolation system sufficient for the proper operation of the system to obtain measurements repeatable with better than 0.3 nm resolution. Product data and a standard commercial warranty are required. This synopsis constitutes the only solicitation that will be issued by the Government for this requirement. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Solicitation provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-12. The Government anticipates a Firm-Fixed-Price contract to be awarded as a result of this requirement. Delivery of the item listed above is not later than 60 DAYS AFTER AWARD.
