The Air Mobility Command (AMC) Contracting Flight anticipantes issuance of a solicitation on or about 4 August 1999 for Drop Zone (DZ) and Landing Zone (LZ) Control activities at Little Rock Air Force Base (AFB), Arkansas with options for these same activities at the Pope AFB/Fort Bragg Range Complex, North Carolina. The requirement is for a six person team at a given AFB with three of the team members being former 7-level Combat Controllers. For performance at Little Rock AFB, the resultant contract will be for a one-year period of performance with four one year priced options. Performance at Little Rock must begin no later than 27 September 1999. For performance at Pope AFB the contract will contain four one year priced options with the first option to be exercised on or about July 2000. This requirement is a 100% Small Business Setaside. The Standard Industrial Classific ation (SIC) code for this acquisition is 8711 with a small business size standard of $20.0M.
