The contractor shall schedule, operate and maintain the Department of the Army, Fort McPherson, Georgia marksmanship range facility and its associated equipment. Approximately 15,000 military personnel and civilian law enforcement personnel utilize the range on an annual basis to train and qualify on individual weapons such as M-16 rifles and 9MM pistols. The contractor shall perform service and maintenance on a newly installed Pneumatic Pop-up Targetry System from Advanced Training Systems (ATS) scheduled for installation at Ft McPherson range not later than 7/31/99. The new targetry system is an ATS model number FLX 95 target, stock number 691001P629375, the system will utilize 5 HP, 80 ton gallon air compressor and requisite data links, air hoses and electrical connections. Duration of this contract is a base period with 4 additional option years to start on 8/1/1999 through 7/31/2000.
