Construct riding stables includes, but not limited to, construct two pre-manufactured metal boarding stables with paddock fencing to include 22 stalls and 2 indoor tack storage rooms; dismantle existing and construct two new community corrals; steel horse pipe fencing and gates at Community Corrals; water and electric service line extensions to site; drainage improvements to detention pond; new gravel road and parking areas; and heat detectors and communications connection to existing fire alarm panel. Includes tree removal. Bid additive items includes electric baseboard heat in one tack room; upgrade existing arena fencing area; new steel round pen; new tack storage building at community corrals; CDOT class 5 aggregate gravel surface course on roadway and parking; and CDOT class 12 riprap at two locations. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials and equipment necessary to perform work. The performance period is 65 days for administration time and procurement of materials and 60 days on-site construction. Contract type will be firm fixed price. The estimated construction magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.00. The resultant contractor will be permitted storage on-site in a pre-designated contractor storage yard. The applicable SIC code is 1542 and small business size standard for this solicitation is one where the average annual receipts of the concern and its affiliates for the preceding three fiscal years does not exceed $17 million. Women-owned and small disadvantaged business concerns are encouraged to submit offers. Copies of this solicitation are limited to 30 and priority issuance of the solicitation will be to those contractors who identify themselves as "PRIME"contractors on a first come basis. Specifications will be issued in CD format. Concerns may review the solicitation at this address (by appointment) or local plan rooms if copies are no longer available. This is a non-appropriated fund purchase with less than one percent (1%) obligated with appropriated funds of the United States Government. The appropriated funded work is strictly for the communications line item.
