Rehabilitation of approximately 4300 feet of the South Jetty at the
mouth of Grays Harbor, WA. The project requires approximately 222,000
tons (total) of armor rock and bedding rock. Armor rock shall be not
less than 30,000 pounds and not grreater than 50,000 pounds. Fifty
percent of the armor rock shall be 40,000 pounds or greater. An
alternate armor material may include fabrication and placement of
concrete armor units in lieu of armor rock. This Solicitation will be
issued as an Electronic Bid Set (EBS) on CD-Romformat only. EBS CD-ROM
disks with plans and specs available on orabout 21 July 1999 at no
charge per set. No individual sheets are available. EBS CD-ROM disks
will be issued on a first come, first served basis until supply is
exhausted. No phone requests accepted. Refer to IFB Number
DACW67-99-B-0056 when ordering. Requests MUST BE IN WRITING and be
received before bid documents will be mailed. Requests may be made: (1)

include if you are a Prime, Sub or Plans Room. EBS CD-ROMs may be
picked up from the Plans Room Monday thru Friday between the hours of
7:30 AM and 3:30 PM. Submit requests by 14 July 1999. Estimated dollar
value is in the range of $5,000,000 to $10,000,000 and completion
period is 540 days. Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1629.
Project is open to both large and small business. If you are a large
business and your bid or proposal will exceed $1,000,000 you will be
required to submit a subcontracting plan. For the purposes of this
procurement a concern is considered a small business if its average
