This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-12 Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code applicable to this acquisition is 3679. The size standard is 500. The U.S Army Special Operations Command intends to issue a firm fixed price contract to the intended Signal Processing Systems, 13112 Evening Creek Rd., San Diego, Ca 92128. Delivery is estimated to be Aug 1999. Signal Processing Systems possesses engineering expertise and technical data to provide the aforementioned items to the Government. The above listed are commercial items. Commercial procedures are applicable at FAR Parts 12 and 13.6. The Government does not own technical data for the above. Signal Processing Systems owns all design rights and is the only known manufacturer. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action for the above is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
