This CBD announcement serves as Amendment No. 01 to the Truck Trailer combined synopsis/solicitation RAQ990017 published on 06/23/99. This amendment is issued to increased the requirement from two (2) each to four (4) each fully enclosed fifth wheel cargo trailers and to make the following corrections to the specifications: item 1) cargo trailers shall range from a minimum 6577 kg (14,500 lb) to a maximum of 6713 kg (14800 lb) gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) with a maximum curb weight of 2495 kg (5,500 lb) and of the gooseneck style; item 16) cargo trailers shall have LT235/85R16 size, load range "E" tires of adequate height and width for GVWR and gross vehicle axle rating (GVAR) requirements mounted on conventional style wheels that will accommodate center mount style hubcaps.
