2ND ANNUAL FEDERAL GOVERNMENT INTERAGENCY TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER SYMPOSIUM AND EXHIBITION This notice is being issued by the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization in Washington, DC. The Department of Energy, in conjunction with the Minority-Owned Business Technology Transfer Consortium (MBTTC), the U.S. Department of Defense, Agriculture, Health and Human Services; the National Aeronautics & Space Administration, and the U.S. Small Business Administration, will sponsor the "2nd Annual Federal Government Interagency Technology Transfer Symposium and Exhibition." The symposium, which is designed to bring representatives from national laboratories and their technology transfer opportunities together with small businesses, including disadvantaged, 8(a), and women-owned small business concerns. The technologies presented by the national laboratories of the federal agencies will be available for commercialization. Small businesses will be informed as to how to get involved and be considered for these opportunities. Experts on financing these opportunities will also be on hand. Historically Black Colleges and Universities, as well as other Minority Institutions are also invited. The technologies will be presented on Monday, July 26, at the Department of Energy's Forrestal Building, located at 1000 Independence Avenue, SW., Washington, DC. The laboratories will exhibit and have one-on-one meetings with interested small businesses on Tuesday, July 27, at the Hotel Holiday Inn Capitol, 550 C Street, SW, Washington, DC. Procurement-related representatives of the Department of Energy will be on hand the afternoon of July 27, to discuss contracting opportunities with their offices and laboratories.
