The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) plans to award a purchase order to Transtec Consultants to develop and present comprehensive training workshops for the High Performance Paving (HIPERPAV) software. Transtec Consultants developed HIPERPAV which is a user friendly Windows-based application intended to serve as a tool for qualified technicians and practicing engineers in the planning, design and construction stages of Jointed Concrete Pavements (JCP) projects. The workshops will train and prepare technical experts on the HIPERPAV software and equip the trainers with the necessary knowledge to execute a variety of presentations and training sessions for both technical and nontechnical audiences. Because Transtec developed the HIPERPAV software they are the only known source available that can provide training workshops on the use of the HIPERPAV software.
