Project consists essentially of, but is not limited to, site preparation to accept installation of Picker International X-Ray system at Dover Air Force Base. Contractor to provide the following: temporary dust/debris barriers, trash removal, project insurance, job site supervisor and final clean up. Demolish approx. (8) LF of existing walls, remove & replace front door, demolish 220 SF of ceiling, furnish and install new structural support system for Picker equipment, furnish and install 60 LF of 1/16" lead lined sheet rock, one 4' x 7' lead lined door and frame assembly with hardware, (1) 16" x 12" x-ray window and frame, install buckystand with supports, build 18 LF of new stud wall, furnish and install new suspended ceiling, vinyl floor tile and cove base, new electrical distribution for Picker equipment including all conduit, wire boxes, surface mounted troughing, new fluorescent lights and incandescent fixtures with dimmer, build 9 LF of new wall with SWC door and frame with light proof seals,stainless steel sink. Dover Air Force Base intends to award this solicitation as a sole source without further competition unless we receive notification of other esponsive sources, no later than close of business, 15 Jul 1999, as a result of this synopsis.
