Z -- RENOVATE UNISEX RESTROOM FACILITY AMENDMENT #1 SOL RAQ990013 DUE 071999 POC Kay Ryan, 208-387-5717 Solicitation #RAQ990013 issued May 26, 1999 to renovate unisex restroom facility is hereby amended as follows: All parts of the original mechanical drawings and specifications shall remain in full force except the following changes, clarifications, and revisions as listed below: DRAWINGS: 1. Sheet M1, a. Delete 3/4" cold water supply to flush toilets; change to read 1-1/4" on the plumbing floor plan; b. Delete 1/2" drain from electric water cooler to outside and change to read: Furnish and install 1/2" drain from the electric water cooler to the existing 4" waste. Furnish and install 3/4" vent through roof. SPECIFICATIONS: a. See page 69: Section 15401: delete entire paragraph 2.1 B.2 Buried piping, and change to read: Buried piping: shall be Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene (ABS) Plastic Pipe, ASTM D 2661 schedule 40, plain ends socket-type drain waste and vent pipe pattern fittings with solvent joints; b. See page 77: Section 15441, 3.3A Fixture Piping Schedule: Change cold water piping size for watercloset (Flushometer/Tank Type) from 3/8" to 1-1/4". In regards to the question at the site inspection: Do the electricals run across the ceiling? Answer: Yes, all electricals run through the ceiling.
