forklift trucks, 3 each. One (1) 6000 lbs., model FL-60-EX, 36 volts
D.C., sit-down, lift speed empty: 53 FPM, lift speed loaded: 25 FPM.
Two (2)4000 lbs., model FL-40-EX, @24"L.C., 36 volts D.C. sit-down,
lift speed empty: 53 FPM, lift speed loaded: 25 FPM. STANDARD FEATURES:
Four 4) wheel configuration, GE SCR control, battery discharge
indicator with lift interrupt, quartz hour meter, hydrostatic power
steering, brass clad forks, automatic return to netural, four (4) wheel
brake-dual system, independent hand and seat actuated parking brake,
static grounded steer tires, static ground straps, recessed rear tow
pin, aluminum bumper strip, designed for ANSI-U.L. 583 type EX (Class
1 Div Group D and Class II, Div 1 Group G), RFI suppressed to
MIL-SDT-461 (Class III C), seat belts, overhead guard, loaded backrest,
fire estinguisher, emergency power disconnect switch, and electric
horn. OPTIONAL FEATURES: Side shifter (4") either side of center,
folding forks, hydrolic attachment, electric backup alarm, strobe light
and battery roller. BATTERY REQUIREMENTS: ANSI-U.L. 583 Class 1, Div 1,
Group D, and Class II, Div 1 Group G., voltage 36 volts D.C., batter
well size -- manufacturer's standard, battery size maximum --
manufacturer's standard, battery weight -- manufacturer's standard,
termination -- manufacturer's standard, configuration -- manufacturer's
standard, and amp hour capacity 6 hour rated. SPECIAL SPECIFICATIONS
REQUIREMENTS: Must be manufactured and tested to ANSI/U.L. 538
standards and classified by Underwriters Laboratories Inc., for use in
Class I Division I, Group D (gas or vapor environment) and Class II,
Division 1, Group (combustible dust enviroments). Forklifts must be
classified by OSHA as Class I, Group D, and Class II, Group G.
Forklifts must have the following spark prevention measures: (1) bronze
cladding on forks, (2) static ground straps, (3) bronze cladding on the
load backrest, (4) conduvtive rubber tires, and (5) aluminum rub strip
all around the truck. The battery compartment must be equipped with
restraint devices. The battery connector should be Anderson Type N150
complying to EX application rating. The drive motor must have thermal
protection in event of abnormal operation. Forklifts should have an ITA
