SPECIAL SPECIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS: Must be manufactured and tested to ANSI/U.L. 538 standards and classified by Underwriters Laboratories Inc., for use in Class I Division I, Group D (gas or vapor environment) and Class II, Division 1, Group (combustible dust enviroments). Forklifts must be classified by OSHA as Class I, Group D, and Class II, Group G. Forklifts must have the following spark prevention measures: (1) bronze cladding on forks, (2) static ground straps, (3) bronze cladding on the load backrest, (4) conduvtive rubber tires, and (5) aluminum rub strip all around the truck. The battery compartment must be equipped with restraint devices. The battery connector should be Anderson Type N150 complying to EX application rating.
