SURVEY/SOURCES SOUGHT. This is a Market Survey/Sources Sought
Announcement seeking to identify potential suppliers either Open Market
or GSA. The CECOM Acquisition Center, Southwest Operations Office is
seeking sources for Low Voltage Air Breakers to be use in Foreign
Countries. The products must be 220 volts and meet the Buy America Act.
LOW VOLTAGE AIR BREAKERS; 1) UL or IEC or VDE standard breakers; 2)
Three poles; 3) Insulation voltage 1000 volts; 4) Impulse voltage
8Kvolts; 5) Nominal voltage 660 volts; 6) Nominal voltage 400 volts
between phases; 7) Frequency 50 Hz.; 8) Nominal current 2000 Amps at
40'c; 9) Short-circuit 60Kamps in 400 volts 50 Hz.; 10) Short-circuit
making current 130 Kamps in 400 volts 50 Hz.; 11) RMS short time
withstand current 1 sec. 55 Kamps in 400 volts 50 Hz.; 12) 10000
mechanical operations, 5000 electrical operations at 400 volts and 1500
operations between maintenances; 13) Humidity of up to 95% at 45'c; 14)
4 auxiliary contacts; 15) One early contact (closing before the pole
contacts); 16) Withdrawable, mounted in cradle with slides; 17) Three
cradle positions CONNECTED, TEST, DISCONNECTED; 18) No automatic
tripping when drawn out of the cradle; 19) Vertical upright fastening
