This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). ITEM No. 1 -- Rackmount Touchmonitor with 19" diagonal flat screen monitor, SVGA resolution of 1024 X 768 or better, integrated acoustic wave touchscreen (ELO Touchsystems Intellitouch Surface Acoustic Wave touchscreen or equivalent), RS-232 interface to PC, DB-9 serial interface connector, Windows NT driver for touchscreen emulation of mouse, software operation of touchscreen and mouse together, mount for installing in standard 19" rack, total panel height 8RU (15.5") maximum, tethered remote control unit for monitor. Quantity: 100 each. The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effectthrough FAC 97-12. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. The SIC code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 3577 and 1000 employees, respectively. The quoter shall state in their quotation their size status for this procurement. All qualified responsible business sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Delivery to NASA, Kennedy space Center, Florida, is required on or before 45 days ARO. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-A7. Quotations for the items(s) described above are due by July 27, 1999 and may be mailed or faxed to Timothy W. Pugh, NASA,KSC, MS: OP-OSO, KSC, FL, 32899, FAX: 407-867-1188 and include, solicitation number, FOB destination to this Center, proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms, warranty duration (if applicable), taxpayer identification number (TIN), identification of any special commercial terms, and be signed by an authorized company representative. Facsimile quotations shall be followed by the originals in the mail. Quoters shall provide the information required by FAR 52.212-1. By submission of its quote, the offeror represents that, if it is subject to the reporting requirements of 37 U.S.C. 4212 (d) (i.e., the VETS-100 report required by FAR clause 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era), it has submitted the most recent report required by 37 U.S.C. 4212 (d). The offeror shall provide, operate, and/or maintain information technology (IT) that is Year 2000 compliant, and shall demonstrate through documentation that IT to be provided is Year 2000 compliant. The offeror shall also warrant in the quote that IT to be provided is year 2000 compliant. The offeror is also requested to provide a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code.
