This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). 3 EACH NETWORKABLE 16-CHANNEL SIGNAL CONDITIONING UNITS; 48 EACH SIGNAL CONDITIONER AMP AND 50KHZ DIGITIZER MODULES; 1 EACH LABVIEW COMPATIBLE BASIC SOFTWARE. SALIENT FEATURES ARE AS FOLLOWS: 19" RACK MOUNT CHASSIS; SIMULTANEOUS A/D CONVERSION ACROSS ALL CHANNELS; UP TO 50KHZ/CHANNEL SAMPLING RATE (SIMULTANEOUS); 16 BIT A/D RESOLUTION; EXPANDABLE SYSTEM TO AT LEAST 512 CHANNELS WHILE MAINTAINING SIMULTANEOUS A/D; ETHERNET NETWORK INTERFACE; STAND-ALONE UNIT MUST HANDLE TRANSDUCER EXCITATION, SIGNAL CONDITIONING, DATA ACQUISITION, POST PRECISING, AND GRAPHICAL DISPLAY; UNIT AND ALL ABOVE FEATURES MUST BE COMPATIBLE AND CONTROLLABLE WITH NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS LABVIEW SOFTWARE; A/D CONVERSION TIME CANNOT EXCEED 10 MICROSECONDS.
