This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice for Request for Quotes (RFQ) No. 99SQ100320. The RFQ will be issued on or about July 27, 1999. Estimated price range of the work is $50,000 to $100,000. The features of the work involves the removal of the existing urethane foam roofing and installation of a single ply membrane roofing at the Anderson Ranch Dam Powerplant and Fixed-Wheel Gate Hoist House. Both are located on the South Fork of the Boise River, 28 miles Northeast of Mountain Home, Idaho in Elmore County. The powerplant consists of three buildings that are connected. Powerplant building #1 is 39-feet by 25-feet, powerplant building #2 is 55-feet by 139-feet, and powerplant building #3 is 21-feet by 139-feet. The fixed-wheel gate (FWG) hoist house consists of two buildings that are connected. FWG hoist house #1 is 27-feet by 41-feet, and FWG hoist house #2 is 26-feet by 41-feet. At both buildings, the principle component of the work to be performed consists of the removal of the existing sprayed-on rigid urethane foam insulation applied to the concrete roof decks and the acrylic rubber insulation coating system. This also includes the removal of the existing parapet wall and cant strips/flashing. A single ply membrane roofing system will then be installed including associated roof and parapet wall flashing and hardware.
