The U.S. Army TACOM-ARDEC and the Product Manager for Paladin/FAASV are soliciting industry responses to a summary paper on the M109 FOV Fleet Management (FM) Pilot Program. This summary is available at HTTP://procnet.pica.army.mil under DAAE30-99-Q-0210. The purpose of the summary is to provide interested parties with the latest information regarding the pilot program prior to the Army leadership decision to discontinue work on the pilot program. This summary highlights the approach to M109 FOV FM generated by a TACOM Red Team in response to industry comments on the Draft RFP issued in October 1998. No decision has been reached to reinstate the pilot program at this point. No payment will be made for responses received.
