This effort involves such tasks as: 1) Provide ST/STE and manufacturing process technical data for the F-15 Eagle TIMS. 2) Evaluate requirements for transfer of tooling/equipment to on-going spare/repair parts manufacturing contracts. 3) Request, receive, and comply with government instructions for the disposition of approximately 80,000 items of ST/STE. 4) Inventory and return to government supply system all excess government-owned property not classified as ST/STE. 5) Remove all F-15 ST/STE from the F-15 production assembly line. 6) Manage shutdown activities of numerous equipment manufacturers at various locations throughout the U.S. 7) Maintain and furnish to the government all appropriate documentation in compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and other applicable publications, directives, or legal guidelines. An Ombudsman has been appointed for this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program manager or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. Potential offerors should use established channels to request information, pose questions, and voice concerns before going to the Ombudsman. The Ombudsman is Mr. Stephen Plaisted, 1790 10th St, Room 208, Wright Patterson Air Force Base, OH 45433, (937)255-9095. Direct all routine communication concerning this acquisition to the point of contact.
