This request is a 100% small business set aside SIC code 3823 which has a small business size standard of 500. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and award shall be made in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5 Test Program For Certain Commercial Items. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a formal written solicitation (request for quotation) will not be issued. REMOTE Site: 9 ea, Callisto Remote Sites configured for a L-22 Seismometer with Spread Spectrum Telemetry, Three Component HRD 24-bit Digitiser, GPS time code receiver with cable and antenna, RF lightning protection; 3 ea Callisto Remote Site configured for a CMG-40T Seismometer with remoter GPS option, Three Component HRD 24-bit Digitiser, RS-422 modem; 3 ea Callisto Remote site with remote GPS time code receiver, RS-422 modem, Spread Spectrum Telemetry, RF lightning protection; 4 ea 20 Amp Solar Charge Control. CENTRAL Site RF Sub-System: 1 ea Portable equipment enclosure with power supply for 12 spread spectrum transceivers; 5 ea spread spectrum transceivers; 5 ea RM4 bridge multiplexers; 1 ea RF cable entry kit. CENTRAL Site Data Acquisition System: 1 ea Pentium 350 MHz or faster computer with a minimum of 6.4 Gbyte IDE hard disk, 256K cache, 128 Mbyte Ram memory; 1 ea 18 Gbyte Disk drive for data storage; 1 ea CD-ROM production system with archiver software; 1 ea NAQS server to support 12 stations with full duplex telemetry support and ring buffer data storage; 1 ea Laser view seismic output software.
