host the kick-off meeting for phase twoof the legal Mix IX Study, 17
Aug 99 at the Embassy Suites, Grapevine, Tx. This study will asses the
ability of promising futrue telenologies to satisfy artillery
delivered precision munitions requirements in the 2010 timeframe and
beyond 2025. this study will examine the terminal effects, potential
contribution to field artillery system effectiveness, and cost of
technologies that support general war, military operations other than
war, operations that require minimizing collateral damage and civilian
casaulties, and non-lethal operations against a wide array of targets.
The purpose of the kick-off meeting is to outline the proposed Phase II
analysis and describe the procedure for nominating future technologies
for consideration. Representatives from government and industry are
invited to attend. Ablock of 100 rooms has been reserved at the Embassy
Suites-Outdoor World, 2401 Bass Pro Drive, Grapevine, Tx, (972)

the number by 30 July 1999. Conference fee (to be collected in cash or
money order- no checks will be accepted) is $89.00. This fee includes
