Service proposes to acquire a contractor to conduct a confidential
operational aviation safety audit of the Air Marine Interdiction
Division. The purpose of the audit is to provide an objective appriasal
of the level of safety and an assessment of the operational practices
and standards as compared with accepted industry standards and norms.
The evaluation will encompass all aspects of the flight, ground,
maintenance and management operations as they relate to operational
safety. Audit activities will include confidential interviews, on-site
observations, and analysis of manuals and practices as appropriate to
the function under review. Estimated period of performance 60 days.
RFQ will be issued on or about 2 August 1999. This procurement is a
100% Small Business Set-Aside. The SIC Code is 7389 ($5.0 million). All
