18 -- PRESOLICITATION CONFERENCE FOR THE RAPID II ACQUISITION The Rapid Spacecraft Development Office (RSDO) will conduct a presolicitation conference on August 2, 1999 at the GSFC in the Building 3 auditorium from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. At this conference we intend to address questions and concerns raised during the draft RFO phase, review the documentation required with the proposal submission, and provide information on the implementation of the Rapid II program. Additionally, we will present information on potential missions under consideration for the Rapid II contract. All spacecraft bus contractors who may be interested in bidding on the initial and/or the subsequent on ramp opportunities are encouraged to attend this conference. To facilitate access to GSFC, please notify this office if you plan to attend this conference by July 29, 1999.
