SEALED BID SALE (MISCELLANEOUS U. S. GOVERNMENT PROPERTY) Sealed Bid Sale of Surplus Government Property. This is a "Usable Sale". Sale Number 9014S3605A. Wyle Laboratories Inc. (Hereinafter referred to as Wyle or Contractor), will accept closed bids on a "Lot Price Basis", for surplus electronic equipment and materiel items related to the calibration of Precision Measurement Equipment. Property is grouped in sixteen different lots. Points of contact indicated above are provided to request and receive a detailed bid package outlining the "General Sales Terms and Conditions Of The Sale", and to receive a listing of all property available. These same individuals should be contacted to make appointments for inspection of the sale items. Bidders are encouraged to visit the Wyle facility for inspection of the sale items, however inspections will be by appointment only. Inspection dates have been scheduled for July 26, through July 29, 1999 between the hours of 9:00 AM through 1:00 PM. Successful bidders will be responsible for removal of all property within 5 business days of the bid opening. Payment of the full purchase price, subject to any adjustment as explained in the "Sales Terms and Conditions Of Sale", must be made within the time specified for removal and prior to release of the property to the successful bidder. All bids must be identified by Lot Number and must be submitted in ink or typewritten. Each bid must be signed in ink with the name, address and telephone number typed or printed below the signature. Bids must be mailed to the address provided above and must be marked "SEALED BID SALE", Attention: Mr. Ron Evans. Mr. Evans must receive bids no later than the bid opening on Tuesday, August 31, 1999 at 2:00 PM local time. Bids will not be accepted by telephone, fax, or telegraph. All non-conforming bids will be rejected. No split, partial or contingent bids will be accepted. Bids must be for entire lots only and must be submitted in whole dollar amounts. If bidder wishes to bid for more than one lot, each bid for a lot must be submitted as a separate bid, one for each lot. All property is being offered "As -- Is, -- Where -Is". Claims Liability: The Purchaser or Bidder agrees to save the Contractor and Government harmless from any and all claims, demands, actions, debts, liabilities, judgments, costs, and attorney's fees arising out of, claimed on account of, or in any manner predicated upon loss of or damage to property of, and injuries to or the death of any and all persons whatsoever, in any manner caused or contributed to by the Purchaser or Bidder, their agents, servants or employees, while in, upon, or about the sale of the property site on which the property sold or offered for sale is located, or while going to or departing from such areas; and to save the Contractor and Government harmless from and on account of damages of any kind which the Contractor may suffer as the result of the acts of any of the Purchaser's agents, servants, or employees, while in or about the said sites.
