SERVICES ADMINISTRATION IS INTERESTED IN LEASING OFFICE SPACE WHICH
MUST YIELD 8,700 TO 8,783 USABLE SQUARE FEET AVAILABLE FOR PERSONNEL,
FURNISHINGS AND EQUIPMENT. THE SPACE WILL BE OCCUPIED BY THE DEPARTMENT
OF JUSTICE, EXECUTIVE OFFICE FOR IMMIGRATION REVIEW. UNIQUE
REQUIREMENTS: OFFICE AND RELATED SPACE MUST BE CONTIGUOUS AND ON ONE
LEVEL WITHOUT BEING SPLIT BY A PUBLIC CORRIDOR. SPACE SHOULD BE ON THE
SECOND FLOOR OR ABOVE, DUE TO SECURITY REASONS. FIRST FLOOR SPACE MAY
BE ACCEPTABLE IF CERTAIN SECURITY MEASURES ARE MET (I.E., SECURED
ENTRANCES, BULLET RESISTANT GLASS AT GROUND FLOOR WINDOWS). AGENCY
REQUIRES THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A PUBLIC ACCESS CONTROL (PAC) POINT WHERE
VISITORS ARE REQUIRED TO PASS THROUGH A SCREENING AREA CONTAINING A
GUARD(S), A MAGNETOMETER, AND/OR X-RAY EQUIPMENT. IF A PAC POINT IS NOT
ESTABLISHED IN THE LOBBY AREA, THEN TENANT OFFICE SPACE SHOULD BE
LOCATED ON A SINGLE FLOOR TO FACILITATE A PAC POINT IN THE ELEVATOR
LOBBY AREA. PARKING: SPACE NEEDS TO BE LOCATED ON-SITE OR WITHIN 200
FEET WALKING DISTANCE OF THE OFFICE LOCATION. AGENCY PREFERS A
"CONTROLLED" PARKING SITUATION. "CONTROL" IS DEFINED AS RANGING FROM
AGENCY MANAGEMENT OF THE PARKING FACILITY TO A FACILITY IN WHICH
PARKING IS RESTRICTED TO LONG TERM PERMITS (I.E., NO DAILY PARKING).
ADDITIONALLY, THE POSTING OF SIGNS CONCERNING PARKING POLICY, TOWING
UNAUTHORIZED VEHICLES, INSTALLATION OF IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM, AND
PROVIDING ADEQUATE LIGHTING FOR PARKING AREAS ARE MAJOR ELEMENTS OF
PERIMETER SECURITY. REGULARLY SCHEDULED (THROUGHOUT THE DAY) PUBLIC
TRANSPORTATION MUST BE AVAILABLE WITHIN 600 FEET OF THE BUILDING
