E-MAIL: Brian Young, Brian.Young@hickam.af.mil. The contractor shall furnish all, labor, equipment, appliances, and materials necessary to construct four (4) recreation buildings. The project will include but not be limited to the construction of a single story structure of wood framed construction on concrete slab-on-grade. Each lodging unit will have a kitchen, bath, living room and lanai. The structures will have exterior and interior finishes including appliances, cabinets, electrical lighting, communication, fire detection system, supporting utilities and all materials needed to provide a complete and usable building. Construction shall also conform to the latest handicap accessible guidelines where required. The project will also involve site work to include the demolition of existing site structures, grubbing/clearing, construction of new parking areas, sidewalks, outdoor shower areas, grading, landscaping and the installation of septic tanks to connect to existing cesspools. The work will also include the installation of new transformer. Thesite of work contemplated under this project is located on Bellows AFS in the state of Hawaii. The total performance period for the contract will be 270 calendar days. This project is unrestricted for on construction SIC code 1542. The estimated cost of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This solicitation will be issued on or about 3 Aug 1999.
