The project consists of reconstruction of four campgrounds located within the Snake River Canyon and the Hoback Canyon. Major areas of work include removal of existing comfort stations, installation of government-furnished comfort stations, road improvements including minor asphalt work, water system improvements, construction of tables, fire circles, rock retaining wall and barrier rock installation. From Jackson, Wyoming, proceed south for 12 miles to Hoback Junction. Proceed east along Highway 189/191 for about 7 miles to Hoback Campground, and an additional 5 miles to Kozy Campground. From Hoback Junction, proceed 12 miles further south along Highway 26/89 to the Station Creek Campgrounds. Estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000.
