PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: The Iowa National Guard wishes to contract for the Add to and Alter Corrosion Control Facility for the Iowa Air National Guard Base located in Sioux City, Iowa. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1542, with a size standard of $17,000,000.00. The successful contractor shall provide all materials, labor, tools, expendable equipment, utility and transportation services and all incidental items necessary to perform and complete the work required for the combined construction. The work consists of four additions to an existing building and installation of a wash bay and new paint booth for washing and painting of jet fighter aircraft. Crafts involved include, but are not limited to the following: Mechanical, Electrical, Laborers, Painters, Roofers, Sprinkler Filters, Floor Layers, Glaziers and Insulators. The estimated construction period is 365 days. The estimated cost of the project is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The Invitation For Bid (IFB) Packet will be issued under solicitation number DAHA13-99-B-0004.
