Provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision to construct 19-bed intensive care unit at the Tucson VA Medical Center. This construction will convert approximately 9,300 GSF on the second floor of Building 38, plus associated mechanical space on the basement level. Work also includes construction of an elevated second floor corridor connecting Building 38 and Building 57. Work shall include (but is not limited to) mechanical and electrical systems, fire sprinklers and fire alarm systems, telecommunications and nurse call conduit systems, TV system, windows and specialty doors. There is NO asbestos abatement. The IFB will be issued on/about August 2, 1999. A Pre-bid conference will be held on August 17, 1999 at 8.a.m. (local time) at the Tucson VA Medical Center. The estimated cost range for this project is from $2,000,000 to $5,000,000. Time of completion is 365 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed.
