includes, but is not limited to furnishing all parts, labor, tools,
equipment, and transportation necessary to 1) Refurbish and overhaul
the Government Furnished, uninstalled, 61QSIIM (BAK-15) Aircraft
Arresting System, associated breaking system, and installation
components. Work includes providing any missing or damaged components,
plus two radio transmitters for north and south lariat, clearance
lights, and a spare net, to provide a fully operation system. 2)
Provide and install the Government Furnished, Contractor Refurbished,
61QSIIM (BAK-15) Aircraft Arresting System, associated braking system,
and all necessary installation components on both ends of the outside
runway 13L/31R. Work includes providing a one year manufacturers parts
and euqipment systems warranty and a one year construction warranty on
the installation. Upon completion of the installation of the 61QSIIM
(BAK-15) system, after testing and certification, remove the existing
MA-1A Aircraft Arresting System from both ends of theoutside runway
13L/31R. All other construction as it appears in the construction
documents is also included in this project. The applicable small
business size standard for interested small business concerns,
including their affiliates, is not more than $7 million in average
annual receipts for the preceding three years. The standard industrial
classification code is 1796. The magnitude of this project is between
$250,000 and $500,000. Numbered Note 22 Applies to this acquisition.
In the event the Government determines to conduct a competitive
procurement the project solicitation and specifications will be made
available on or about 3 Aug 99. If competitive the complete package
