The Naval Air Systems Command announces an Industry Day to brief interested contractors on the current SHAred Reconnaissance Pod (SHARP) program acquisition strategy including procurement of the sensor, recorder and pod. The Industry Day will be held on 16 August 1999 at 1:00 p.m. at Veridian Corporation, 22309 Exploration Drive, Lexington Park, MD. Participation is limited to two people per company. Interested companies must submit an unclassified visit request to: Naval Air Systems Command, Attn: L. Raley, Code 2.2.4.1.3 Unit 2272, suite 453, 47123 Buse Road, Patuxent River, MD 20670-5304. The unclassified visit request shall include the following information: company name, participant's name, social security number, job title, citizenship, e-mail address and purpose of visit. The visit request must be received by 13 August 1999. The draft Statement of Work for the SHARP sensor competitive procurement will be available electronically on 02 August 1999 at http://www.navair.navy.mil/air20/air214/conthome.htm.
