49 -- LUBE AND SCAVENGE PUMP TEST STAND MODIFICATION SOL N68335-99-R-0288 DUE 083099 POC Barbara C. The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ intends to procure a Lube and Scavenge Pump Test Stand modification under RFP N68335-99-R-0288, formerly advertised on 18 Jun 1999 as RFQ N68335-99-Q-2542. All offerors requesting the RFQ 2542 will be solicited under RFP 0288. This requirement applies to hardware, services, and technical data for the modification for two (2) Lube and Scavenge test stands currently in the Navy inventory at the Naval Aviation Depot in Jacksonville, Florida, and identified as P/N 21C8583G01. The test stands are required to troubleshoot and verify full performance testing of the lube and scavenge pump for the F414-GE-400 Turofan Engine. The contractor shall be responsible for the modification of the test stand in a sequential manner to allow full performance testing of the F414 engine lube and scavenge pump while maintaining the current ability to test the F404 engine lube and scavenge pumps. The modification shall include upgrading two (2) test stands, updating technical manuals, calibration procedures, drawings and training plans. Interest and concerns should be addressed to Barbara C.
