Project consists of providing and hauling 3/4 inch minus aggregate base course to the Black Butte Trail Head Road Number 41N18. The material shall be wind rowed along the existing road via the use of belly dumps. The length of road to receive aggregate wind rows is approximately 3.3 miles in length. The Forest Service will spot the locations that the material is to be placed. The designated Aggregate source is Souza Readymix, a commercial source north of Mt. Shasta. The one way haul to the beginning of project is approximately 5.4 miles. Project is located on the Mt. Shasta Ranger District, Shasta-Trinity National Forest, Siskiyou County, California. Contract time is 14 calendar days. Date for receipt of quotes has not been established, but is estimated to be in the latter part of August, 1999.
