This Market Survey is seeking to identify suppliers for a hand-held battery tester, capable of testing six (6) and twelve (12) volt batteries, is required for the USMC Family of Light Armored Vehicles. Responses to this Market Survey are due 30 days from the date of this ad. This is NOT an Invitation for Bid (IFB) or a Request for Proposal (RFP). We're seeking contractors capable of providing a battery tester with the following requirement characteristics: (a) Must be hand held; (b) Tests both six (6) and twelve (12) volt batteries; (c) Complete battery analysis: Digitally displays voltage, battery condition, and available power; (d) Automatic state-of-charge compensation allows testing of batteries down to 5.5 volts; (e) Easy to follow self-prompting instructions; (f) Good contact verification; (g) Tests discharged batteries; (h) Temperature compensation; (i) Tool box tough; (j) No external battery or AC power required; (k) Does not discharge battery; (l) Testing is passive and repeatable. Any source capable of providing solutions to any or all the above listed requirements are requested to respond. Responses should provide detailed information about solutions, including a detailed technical description, NSNs/PNs, estimated costs, etc. The response should also identify any previous contract(s), (contract number, dollar amount, Government POCs, program description, etc.) completed by the respondee. All interested firms, regardless of size are encouraged to respond to this announcement. However, companies must indicate business size with their written response to this synopsis.
