sources sought synopsis for information. The Coast Guard Aviation
Training Center in Mobile, Alabama is anticipating replacing the
current five-channel calligraphic projector display system for HH60J
full motion domed simulator. The system must be a display system
compatible with image generator and peripherals. Consumables and
repairables, including boards and microprocessor cards as well as CRTs
for display system, must be commercially available (COTS) or site
repairable and not proprietary. The manufacturer of the existing
equipment is Evans and Sutherland. The projection system components
consist of projector head, remote deflection boxes, remote power supply
box, correction electronics cabinet, alignment terminal, operator (Sun)
workstation. The projector head components consist of, CRT assembly,
high-voltage block, video amplifier assembly and head microprocessor
card. CRT assembly consists of: liquid coupled CRT w/ 7-inch faceplate.
Part numbers are as follows: Red 210255-121/210250-120, Green
210255-121/210250-121, Blue 210255-122/210250-121. Image Generator:
ESIG-600. Interested firms who feel they have available on the open
market a visual display system capable of meeting the above
specification should furnish complete technical literature including
brochures and technical descriptions adequate for review and
determination as to capability. This synopsis does not constitute a
Request for Proposals (RFP) and the Government will not pay for any of
the materials submitted. Your response must be submitted within 30
calendar days from date of publication of this notice. Respondents will
not be notified of the results of the evaluation of the information
submitted. All interested sources will receive a copy of the RFP, if
