We are looking for qualified sources who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operating a Range Safety Program for U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG). USAYPG is one of the Army's testing ranges and our mission includes the testing of various weapon and soldier support systems. Commodity areas include munitions and weapons, aviation systems, automotive systems, and combat systems. Located in the southwest corner of Arizona in the Sonoran Desert, we have the perfect environment for hot weather testing. We provide other environments through climatic chambers and our Tropic Test sites, in Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Panama, and our Cold Region Test Center at Ft. Greely, Alaska. You may be required to provide safety support at these areas. Extensive experience in a variety of munitions and weapon systems is mandatory. Experience in the other commodity areas is desired.
