The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound (FISCPS) has a requirement for the dry-dock, blast, and paint of the YRBM-20 berthing barge. The repair shall be performed at the contractor's facility. The barge is to be picked-up and returned to the Government pier at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (PSNS), Bremerton, WA. If contractor is outside the Puget Sound area, such that an Ocean Tow is required, the offer must include the cost to prep barge for such a tow and return it to PSNS in its original condition. The desired period of performance is from date of award though 30 Sep 99. The contract will be a firm fixed price service contract, with a Time and Material component for unexpected repairs. The acquisition will be solicited as a 100% small business set-aside. The RFP will be issued on or about 30 Jul 99 with a 30 day closing. All responsible sources may submit an offer/bid which shall be considered by FISC Puget Sound. No telephone requests for the solicitation package will be accepted.
