for Inter/Intranet WEB Site Development and Maintenance Personnel. The
Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to issue a RFP to obtain
the services of a qualified SMALL BUSINESS who can design and develop
a a curriculum of training classes including the specific course
content, delivery methods, duration, schedule and evaluation tools to
train SSA personnel in the development, design and maintenance of
Internet/Intranet WEB sites. The contractor will present at least one
full series of classes (the curriculum) to SSA personnel which will be
assessed for compliance with the stated goal of raising the
capabilities of SSA personnel. SSA requires that non-systems employees
who develop and maintain component web sites on both the Social
Security Online and SSA Intranet receive a level of training that will
enable them to perform their tasks with a professional level of
expertise. The proposed contract is for one year only for the
development and presentation of one set of classes (the curriculum).
Any organization which believes it has the relevant experience,
personnel, facilities, systems, experience, etc. to perform the
described tasks should submit a written request to the Contracting
Officer within 10 business days from the publication of this
announcement requesting a copy of the solicitation. The RFP is
scheduled for release on or about August 6. This is a total Small
Business Set-Aside. The RFP will be available for downloading from
