The contractor shall operate and manage the Student Support Center and conduct training for a Signal Captains Career Preparatory Course, 4C-F36X, for international students who will attend courses at the U.S. Army Signal Center, Fort Gordon, Georgia. The purpose of the preparatory course is to better prepare international students to attend the Signal Captains Career Preparatory Course and the Signal Officer Basic Course. Minimum qualifications for the instructor: must be an experienced instructor of military personnel, must possess a Communications/Electronics background and be very familiar with U.S. Army Signal Military Occupational Skills (MOS's), must possess knowledge of cultural differences. The desired experience is as follows: (a) at least two (2) years experience in teaching U.S. Army Signal MOS's, (b) at least one (1) year of user experience in Windows Basic Word Processing, Databases, Spreadsheets, Presentation Packages and Communication Packages to include e-mail, (c) at least two (2) years experience in developing training materials, (d) at least two (2) years experience in teaching/training international military personnel, and (e) knowledge of Systems Approach to Training. Period of performance is intended to cover a base period and four option periods. The projected issue date is July 19, 1999.
