AS A RESULT OF THIS COMPUTER HARDWARE FAILURE, THE CLOSING DATE OF THE SOLICITATION WILL BE 20 CALENDAR DAYS AFTER THE ISSUE DATE. The Air Force intends to solicit proposals for a firm-fixed price contract for Replace Chiller FAC 6000. Work includes but is not limited to the following: Furnish all plant, labor, equipment and material to remove one existing 700-ton centrifugal chiller, one horizontal split case pump, and motor located in the main chiller room along with designated associated piping. Provide and install one TRANE MANUFACTURED 700-ton centrifugal-type chiller, rated to deliver 41 degrees Fahrenheit chilled water based on 51 degree Fahrenheit return rate. Each chillershall be provided with a microprocessor controller. Provide horizontal split case pump for primary chilled water duty. Provide all related mechanical requirements (piping, valves, insulation, etc.). Provide electrical changes to support installation of new equipment. Provide general construction work for concrete pads. Provide upgrades to hardware/software for EMCS system as necessary to support the chiller replacement. The performance period is 240 calendar days. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 1711. Project value is estimated between $250,000 -- $500,000. This is a competitive best-value solicitation in which offerors_ past performance and price will receive equal consideration.
