This project titled "Wing A-2 Alterations, Bldg. 1" is for a new Primary Care Clinic through major alteration to the existing Wing A-2, an area of approximately 10,600 square feet, within the Beaufort Naval Hospital. The estimated construction cost for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Close construction coordination and management by the construction contractor of all work will be essential in order to fulfill the work restrictions and phasing schedule required for continuous operation of the Hospital and the continuous construction currently in progress for Life Safety Upgrade and Improvements. This solicitation is formatted as a Request for Proposal in accordance with the requirements designated by FAR 15.6 for a negotiated procurement. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose proposal conforms to this solicitation will be the "BEST VALUE" to the government, price and technical factors considered.
