This project consists of the replacement or retrofit of corrugated metal pipes to improve watershed health, accomodate fish passage in areas where passage is blocked, and enhance fish habitat opportunities. The work includes replacement of up to 15 culverts, removal of culverts and replacement with bridge, and storage of approximately 5 kilometers of road. Culvert dddiameter sizes range from 900 mm to 2400 mm. The project site is located approximately 25 kilometers northeast of Ketchikan, Alaska on the Shoal Cove road system. All sites are accessible from the shoal Cove road system. The Shoal Cove road system is not connected to any public road system, to any community, or to the Alaska Marine Highway ferry system. Timing restrictions apply to certain aspects of the work. The contract time is 365 calendar days. The estimated price range is $500,000 -- $1,000,000.
