includes removal of the existing native log crib abutment, native log
float access gangway, and existing native log/timber decked floats at
the Rowan Bay Log Transfer Facility (LTF) Administrative Float Facility
and construction of the following replacement structures at the float
facility: a rock-filled crib, a 2 meter wide 20 meter long metal float
access gangway, a pile-anchored 10 meter by 10 meter timber frame, and
a sealed polyethylene floatation system float. The work site is located
at the Rowan Bay Administrative/Camp float adjacent to the Rowan Bay
LTF, located along the northern shore of Rowan Bay on the western side
of Kuiu Island, approximately 56 air kilometers (35 air miles) west of
Petersburg, Alaska. The project site is accessible by float plane or
boat from Petersburg. The contract time is 270 calendar days. The
estimated price range is $100,000 -- $250,000. All responsible sources
